Darwell Ag Society Grounds
Here you will find a high class facility no matter what your interests. Site of the famous Darwell Ag Drag & Barn Burner concert every 2nd weekend in August. Come and join over 2000 other truck, tractor and music enthusiasts for one of the premier events in the province every summer.
Available on the Ag Grounds are:

3) Indoor riding arena
4) Outdoor riding arena
5) Outdoor ice rink with lights for evening enjoyment
6) Mack Shack with full concession kitchen
7) Ag barns
Darwell Golden Age Center
As a small community we are very blessed to have so many services and facilities. The Golden Age Center is another smaller building set up for the seniors in our community. They have pool tables, activity centers, kitchen facility and they host car tournaments. This hall is also available to rent by the public. If you have interest in this option please fill out the standard rental contract for the hall and state in the comments section "Golden Age Center". We will pass your information on to the right person.
Darwell Public Library
Darwell has a Library, a very busy one! You have access to all the services of the Yellowhead Library Region through our community Library. You have computer centers and print services. The Library puts on many family oriented programs as well from Family Movie Night, to preschool sessions as well as adult Education sessions. Please call the Library for more detail, 780-892-3746.

Community Organizations
Volunteers and community involvement are two areas that go hand in hand within Lac Ste. Anne County. There are various community groups for all ages and interests. These groups include 4-H, Brownies/Girl Guides, Cubs/Boy Scouts, Lion's Clubs, Elks and Royal Purple Clubs, Agricultural Societies, Volunteer Fire Departments, T.O.P's Clubs and Snowmobile Clubs.

Sangudo is well known for its action at the Stock Car Races while the Crash Up Derbies hold the excitement in Mayerthorpe. Alberta Beach hosts fishing derbies and ball tournaments during the summer and snowmobile rallies during the winter.
